Very special guest and topic for our last event before the summer break! We're very excited to invite Phoebe Hugh - CEO of Brolly, to the stage.
About the speaker: Phoebe is the CEO of Brolly, a powerful and innovative insurance app. Prior to this, she worked for Aviva. While employed she attended a hackathon and knew her next move would be to make the leap into entrepreneurship. This was shortly followed by joining one of the first cohorts at Entrepreneurs First (EF) and eventually raising £1m from prestigious VCs like Valore (Peter Thiel's venture fund). Phoebe will be talking about her journey, from the day she quit her job until the day she negotiated her first term sheet. Very exciting!
Please note: as we have limited spots, this event will likely sell out.
Purpose of the event: Breakfast meetup aimed at bringing together female entrepreneurs who are interested in or building a company. A safe place to share ideas, experiences and meet others on the same journey.
Format: short presentation on fundraising and building a tech company by Phoebe Hugh followed by Q&As. We will then break out into smaller groups by fundraising stage (thinking about fundraising, currently fundraising, etc). Members typically hang back afterwards to network further. Coffee and breakfast served courtesy of Campus London, our amazing hosts!
Note: the event will be back in the main Campus event space.
Please note this event will be filmed and photographed. Let the staff know if you don't want to be included."
